Born: December 29, 1880, Ociesc, Poland

Died: May 11, 1946. Buried in St. Bronislava Catholic Cemetery, Plover WI

Biography Ca. 1889, began to study piano with his older brother Alexander, who was an organist and music teacher in Radzanowo, After high school, studied organ with Rev. Eugene Gruberski. (in Plock?);1901 became organist at St. Joseph's Church in Lodz. Studied at the Hochschule für katholische Kirchenmusik in Regensburg. 1904-1906 under Haberl, Renner and Haller; in Munich 1906-08 under Motyl, Thule, Glut and Reger. Came to US in 1908. Married Pearl Kierzenkowska (American) Nov. 29, 1908. Served as organist in Chicago, Kenosha, Milwaukee (St. Casimir, 1914-1919), Detroit and settled in Plover, WIsconsin in 1923, where he became organist in St. Bronislava Parish, where he dedicated a new organ in 1932 and served until his death.. Wrote over 500 compositions (including 3 operas), mostly unpublished. Usually went by "Eugene" in the US.
