Born: March 14, 1861, Rockland MA

Died: December 16, 1933, Brookline MA

Biography

Truette studied from 1878 to 1881 at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston and graduated from Boston University in 1883. Afterwards, he spent 2 years in Europe and studied with Carl August Haupt in Berlin, Alexandre Guilmant in Paris and William Thomas Best in Liverpool and London.
