Biography Son of John Schehl. organist of St. Francis Seraph Church (Cincy?) Studied with Romeo Gorno (piano), W. S. Sterling (organ) L. Campanari (violin) L.V. Saar (composition) Van der Stucken (orchestration) Took first church job at St. Stanislaus at age 16.served at St. John Church and Holy Trinity Church (from May 1899 ) before settling at St. Lawrence in 1912, where he remained for 47 years. Member of the Cincinnati Orchestra 10 years, chorus director for the Festivals 10 years, conductor of Mozart Male Chorus 15 years, associate of the AGO. Married Christine Wimberg of Cincinnati; had 11 children, all musical. Choirmaster and organist at Chapel of the Holy Spirit (The Fenwick), Cincinnati OH in 1930. Played dedication recital of new Kilgen organ in St. Lawrence in October 1951
