Born: Dublin, May 9, 1871

Died: Dublin, June 21, 1948

Biography Eldest child of R. V. O'Brien, organist of St. James Church Dublin Organist at Rathmines Church, 1885 Studied organ with Sir Robert Prescott Stewart at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Director of choir of Dublin Pro-Cathedral in 1903. 1908-48 professor of music Ladies' Teacher-Training College at Carysfort Park, Blackrock. Famed opera coach and accompanist
