Died: December 23, 1973, Pelplin, Poland

Biography Alexander John Karczynski Musical studies in Munich; graduated in 1905 .Arrives in New York April 24, 1907, goes to Chicago. Organist at SS. Peter and Paul to 1924, then St. John Kanty Indiana Harbor IN 1925-32. Holy Innocents Chicago 1932-(43?) Co-founder and editor of Przeglad Polsko-Amerykanski (Polish-American Review) and Lutnia (organ of the Society of Polish Organists in America). Taught Polish at Sacred Heart College and St. Ignatius college. Returned to Poland in 1966.
