Born: May 8 1778, Sterzing in the County of Tyrol, Austria

Died: July 13, 1844, Vienna

Biography Studied with his father and then with Abbe Vogler. Friends with Weber and Meyerbeer. From 1823 to his death, music director at St. Stephens Cathedral, Vienna
