Life

Born: Colgan, near Orangeville, Ontario, October 28, 1894

Died: Toronto, October 15, 1962

Biography Studied under Healey Willan. Ordained 1922, Studied chant with Dom Mocquereau at Pius X school New York and at Solesmes, Monsignor, studied at Rome's Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music 1932-35, pupil of Nadia Boulanger and Louis Vierne, founded Toronto’s St. Michael’s Choir School in 1937
