Died: December 25, 1890
Biography Came to US in 1840s, to St. Louis in 1847. During the civil War, he taught in Cincinnati, at bardstown and St. Josephs Academy in Kentucky. In 1864 back in St. Louis. 1867 starts publisher Bollman and Schatzman, publishes hit piano piece "Les cloches du convent"
