Biography Dr. Horton Lawrence Roe Graduated St. Norbert College, attended Catholic University of America, PhD University of WI-Madison
Staff pianist, WHBY, West De Pere WI, late 1920s
4 years in Navy, WW II
Marquette University (25 years, director, Department of Music, directed University Chorus) Organist/Music Director, St. Mary of the Angels, St, John the Evangelist, St. Patrick, alos Gesu in Milwaukee. At end of life, assisted choir and played organ at the Salvation Army. Reference to "brother Horton Roe"; may have left religious life (no mention in obituary)
Had a personal collection of relics which he willed to Bob Kozak, who willed them to the Green Bay Cathedral.
