Life

Born: October 31, 1848, Trippstadt, Germany

Died: March 5, 1935, Rochester NY

Biography Came to US as a child with parents, lived first in NYC, then Sandusky OH, studied with Rheinberger at Munich Conservatory; became organist of St. Patrick's Cathedral, Rochester, on Aug. 31, 1888 (served until death); also taught at Sacred Heart Academy and St. Andrew's and St. Bernard's Seminaries
