Life
Born: Amsterdam, August 17, 1903
Died: Naarden1963
Biography Studied at the Amsterdam conservatory (organ and piano: J. B. de Pauw, composition with Sem Dresden, Gregorian chant with Caec. Huigens) In 1924 became organist at St. Willebrorduskerk Best known for his organ music, he also wrote much pedagogical literature for piano. His younger brother Herman Jacobus Josephus Nieland was also a composer, primarily of piano pedagogical materials
