Life
Born: March 9, 1887, Bendorf, Landkreis Mayen-Koblenz, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany
Died: April 1, 1968, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania
Biography
Prof. Leopold J. Syré was a music teacher, arranger, composer, organist, director of several large choirs and singing groups, and founder of the Syré Opera Company. He was involved the music program at St. Peter's Church in Philadelphia for more than 40 years.
