Born: Dueren, Rhineland, April 9, 1855
Died: Covington, KY November 17, 1929
Biography "Rt. Rev. Msgr Henry" in American publications. Brother of Fr. William Tappert (to America 1870), HE CAME TO AMERICA CA. 1875, they arrived at Mother of God, Covington, KY, Dec. 11, 1879 As pastor and associate; Henry became pastor on death of William in 1907. 1917, made Domestic Prelate by Benedict XV.
