Born: Aalten, Gelderland, the Netherlands, November 10, 1827
Died: Cleveland. OH, December 31, 1900
Biography Joannes Theodorus Wamelink came to America in 1835 with his parents and 8 siblings, At age 14, he became first organist at St. Mary's of the Flats, Cleveland. Moved to Pittsburgh and studied composition with Charles B. Barr.
